Oral Presentation Guidelines
DAY ONE
-
Designate one member from your team to pick your tribe randomly from the teacher’s hat. The name of the piece of paper, is the tribe your team will be researching.
-
Decide which team member is responsible for researching each of the following categories: housing, food/diet, clothing, culture/daily life.
DAY TWO & THREE
-
Research! Research! Research! Utilize the tribe information pages and videos located on the Web Quest to gather your information.
-
After you complete your research, begin planning your group presentation. Decide what information you would like to include. Keep in mind that your final presentation must be between 5-10 minutes and every member of the group must participate orally.
-
Begin constructing your props and rehearsing the presentation. You may utilize classroom art supplies to construct your props.
DAY FOUR
-
Presentation Day! Make sure your group has rehearsed your presentation and has all required props. Also, remember that you need to be an active listener during other presentations!
